About US

Formerly EnCon Search Services, we are a recruiting firm that now specializes in skilled trade contracting personnel.  Engineering Construction (EnCon) search Services was the company I started after I moved to Florida following more than 15 years with MBA Management,Inc. in Northern Virginia. Now I work exclusively with Consolidated Business Associates also located in Northern Virginia that is owned and managed by the former owner of MBA.  Our promary focus is providing on a national basis long and short term skilled trades contractors to the manufacturing, industrial and construction industries. Assignment can be as short as one week or as long as one year.  Sometimes it is for only one or two people or like one of our requirements in the Houston area for upwards of 100 contractors.  In addition we still do some permanent placement of Civil Engineers, Architects and Construction professionals.  My name is Tom King, I am a Civil Engineer by education and practice, a retired US Army Corps of Engineers Offficer as well as a semi-retired engineering & construction recruiter.  You can find out more about me by going to the link above.

Purpose:

This website is intended too showcase our current openings, give you a place to submit your qualification for those openings.  As we are always looking for top talent in all regions of the country I also encourge you to submit your resume even if there is not a current position listed in your area.  We receive two kinds of requirements from out clients; locla only with no daily per-diem, and traveling assignment where the client is willing to pay a daily per-diem for top talent regarless of where they are from.  Below are just some of the skills we seek on a regular basis.
